When you arrive, head to the main gate with your ID and ticket ready to show our friendly gate staff.

To help everyone get in quickly, please have your e-ticket ready to go—either in your phone’s wallet or as a clear screenshot.

Bag checks and wrist-banding will happen at the gate

If you're 18 or older, be ready to show your ID for an over-18 wristband.

Bundaberg Rum Country Music Raceday is an all-ages event, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian who is legally old enough to be their parent.

Accepted forms of ID include:

Australian driver license or learner permit

Passport (Australian or international)

Proof of Age card or Australia Post Keypass

Overseas driver license

🚗 Getting to Doomben Racecourse

Doomben Racecourse is in Ascot, just 11km from Brisbane’s CBD—making it super easy to get to.

Public Transport:
One of the quickest ways to arrive is by train, with Doomben Station just a 5-minute walk from the gates. For the latest public transport info, visit Translink.

Taxi & Rideshare:
Taxi and rideshare drop-offs and pick-ups will be available via Gate 4. Please note: Hampden Street will be closed on the day, so use Onslow Street for access.

🔐 Entry Conditions & Prohibited Items

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests, all bags will be checked upon arrival, and security will be patrolling the racecourse throughout the day.

The following items are strictly prohibited and will be confiscated if found:

❌ Alcohol

❌ Outside food or beverages (including sealed bottles)

❌ Glass items

❌ Umbrellas

❌ Fireworks or flares

❌ Skateboards, roller skates, rollerblades

❌ Eskys (coolers)

❌ Camping chairs or tables

❌ Illegal substances

❌ Weapons of any kind

❌ Balloons

Please Note:
Attempting to bring alcohol or illegal drugs onto the site will result in immediate removal and forfeiture of your ticket, with no re-entry permitted.

Entry will also be denied to anyone who arrives intoxicated, under the influence of substances, or behaving in an aggressive or inappropriate manner.

🤠 Dress Code – Bundaberg Rum Country Music Raceday

We invite all racegoers to embrace the spirit of Bundaberg Rum Country Music Raceday by dressing in their best country-inspired outfits. Think denim, flannel shirts, cowboy boots, and western flair.

Members Dress Code Update:

For this event, Members are welcome to enjoy a more relaxed dress code. Denim and flannel or other country-style attire are permitted in the Members Reserve. However, joggers, thongs, and shorts are not permitted in the Members Area.

General Dress Code Guidelines for All Guests:

➡️ Footwear must be worn at all times while on course

➡️ Clothing with offensive or discriminatory language, graphics, or messaging is strictly prohibited
