Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) is committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for all patrons, including those with accessibility needs. We believe that everyone should be able to enjoy our venues, events, and services with dignity, independence, and comfort. Our team is trained to provide respectful, proactive support and assistance wherever needed. 

Getting Here - Parking & Transport

  • Designated accessible parking bays are available close to venue entrances, with no height restrictions. 

  • All accessible parking spaces are clearly marked and regularly monitored. 

  • Accessible taxi and rideshare options are available upon request. 

  • A mobility buggy (wheelchair-friendly) is available to assist patrons from parking areas to entry gates. 

Facilities & Amenities

  • Accessible toilets are available throughout the venue. 

  • Food, beverage, and betting facilities are designed to accommodate wheelchair users. 

  • Wide walkways support ease of movement for wheelchairs, walkers, and prams. 

  • Wheelchair-accessible tables and rest areas with comfortable seating are provided. 

  • Service animals are welcome, with facilities available upon request. 

Entering the Venue

  • All entry gates offer clear, level access. 

  • Gate staff are trained to assist patrons with accessibility needs upon arrival. 

Support Services & Safety

  • BRC staff are trained to offer respectful assistance and supervision. 

  • Security officers are on duty to ensure safety and accessibility compliance. 

  • Our Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) includes trained First Aiders and Fire Wardens. 

Communication Accessibility

  • Vision Impairment: Service dogs are welcome across all venues.

  • Event Accessibility is considered for special events (e.g., reserved seating, priority access). 

  • Accessible Communication: Information is available in alternative formats (e.g., large print, braille, easy read). 

  • Website Accessibility: Our website is designed to meet accessibility standards and includes information about accessible function areas. Patrons are encouraged to check specific venue details or contact us for guidance. 

Lift Access - Eagle Farm Venue

Due to the unique layout and heritage features of Eagle Farm Racecourse, lift access varies across different function areas. While some areas are equipped with accessible lifts, others may have limited access. We encourage patrons to:
